Exploratory for the XBOX 360 boot up animation and mnemonic. Conveying a more inviting and friendly brand position than it’s predecessor, the new mnemonic had to still maintain a strong relationship with the largest segment of its current customer base, the core gamer.
The mnemonic had to be able to be recreated with code and had to be modular enough to work as a 8, 5, and 3 second bumper. Proposed(though never implemented) was a strategy for defining gamer taxonomy with unique particle behaviors, allowing the mnemonic to evolve and as a player’s gaming and entertainment behaviors change.
